BetRivers Poker reached a new high in July 2026, posting its largest estimated share of the regulated U.S. online poker market one year after launching its four-state network that includes West Virginia.
According to Pokerfuse, citing Poker Industry PRO estimates, BetRivers captured a 10.0% market share in July, up from 9.7% previously reported in May. The outlet also estimated BetRivers generated more than $900,000 in poker revenue for the month, a 36% increase from July 2025.
For West Virginia, the report does not describe any new state-specific regulatory change. But it does highlight that BetRivers remains the only regulated online poker provider in the state and that West Virginia is part of the operator’s shared-liquidity network.
July marked a record month for BetRivers Poker
Pokerfuse reported that BetRivers first launched online poker in Pennsylvania in October 2024. Nine months later, it expanded simultaneously into Michigan, West Virginia, and Delaware, creating a four-state network.
That network appears to have helped the operator continue gaining ground in the regulated market. In addition to the estimated 10.0% national market share, Poker Industry PRO gave BetRivers a PRO Score of 159 in July 2026, up from 120 a year earlier.
The source also reported BetRivers holds an estimated 14% share of the online poker market in Pennsylvania and 15% in Michigan. In Delaware and West Virginia, it is the only regulated poker operator.
What West Virginia players should watch next
The report says BetRivers has not yet launched online poker in New Jersey. If that happens, Pokerfuse said the company would become the first five-state online poker network in the U.S.
According to the source, a New Jersey launch would open access to about 30% more of the U.S. market, and BetRivers is expected to go live there sometime in 2026. Still, Pokerfuse did not report a confirmed approval date or launch timeline.
For West Virginia players, the main takeaway is that no new in-state change was announced. The significance of the July results is that the only regulated online poker option in West Virginia is part of a network that continues to grow its estimated revenue and national market share.
