Sounding Like a Broken Record, WV Sports Betting Falls Into The Red
After posting its lowest overall sports betting handle since Oct. 2018 last week, WV sportsbooks dipped further for the week ending May 11.

The May WV sports betting revenue report improved from April. However, both handle and revenue figures are much lower than would normally be
West Virginia sportsbooks managed to generate a solid bump up in revenue. However, the overall handle continued to disappoint for the week ending June 29.
WV sports betting had its slowest week since the first weeks of betting in the state. Handle fell below $1.4 million for the first time since Sept. 2018.
WV sports betting continues to produce seesaw revenue reports. This week is a down week and there isn't any news hinting it will change anytime soon.
The countdown is on until WVU football opens its season and college football betting begins. Even so, recent WV sports betting revenue numbers are solid.
