FanDuel is reportedly set to name interim CEO Christian Genetski as its permanent leader, effective January 1, according to CDC Gaming Reports, citing Front Office Sports.
Front Office Sports learned of the appointment through an internal email to employees of FanDuel parent company Flutter Entertainment. The email came from Flutter CEO Dan Taylor.
“Christian has done a fantastic job leading FanDuel on an interim basis,” Taylor wrote, according to the report.
The reported appointment follows former FanDuel CEO Amy Howe’s departure six months earlier, amid a steep slide in Flutter’s share price. Flutter also changed leadership: Taylor became CEO on October 1 after Peter Jackson stepped down.
