bet365 has launched in West Virginia, adding a new online betting option in the state ahead of the 2026 college football and NFL seasons.
According to West Virginia Lottery licensing records cited by SiGMA, bet365 first received an interim licence in January and then a full annual licence on 29 July. That approval made bet365 the state’s 10th licensed online sports wagering operator.
The launch also gives bet365 a broader foothold in the U.S. regulated market. The company now operates regulated sports betting in 18 states, and West Virginia is the fourth U.S. state where it offers both sports betting and online casino gaming.
West Virginia joins bet365’s recent North American expansion
The West Virginia rollout continues a stretch of North American growth for bet365. The company has expanded into Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Michigan, Alberta, Illinois and Tennessee over the past 13 months, according to the source report.
