West Virginia online casino revenue totaled $36.4 million in July 2026, part of a nationwide rebound that pushed combined US iGaming revenue back above $1 billion for the month.

West Virginia posts 24.7% year-over-year growth

West Virginia’s $36.4 million in July revenue represented a 24.7% increase from the same month last year. That made it one of seven legal iGaming states to post at least 12% year-over-year growth in July.

Among the seven states, West Virginia ranked behind Pennsylvania ($311.9 million), Michigan ($302.8 million), New Jersey ($276.9 million), and Connecticut ($65.3 million), while finishing ahead of Delaware ($16.2 million) and Rhode Island ($6.2 million).

Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey remained the largest markets

Pennsylvania led the country in July with $311.9 million in online casino revenue, followed by Michigan at $302.8 million and New Jersey at $276.9 million.

New Jersey set a new monthly revenue record with its $276.9 million total, narrowly topping its previous high of $276.3 million set in May. Delaware also set a new monthly record in July at $16.23 million, edging its prior mark of $16.20 million from March.

Through the first seven months of 2026, US iGaming revenue reached $7.05 billion. Pennsylvania’s year-to-date total stood at $2.20 billion, ahead of Michigan’s $2.11 billion by about $90 million.
