West Virginia online casino revenue reached $39 million in June 2026, according to a market report from Poker Industry PRO. The total was described as flat versus prior months, but up 41% from the same month a year earlier.

DraftKings led the state in June with $13 million in revenue, good for a 34% market share. The report said that was an all-time high for DraftKings revenue in West Virginia and among its highest market-share results in the state.

BetMGM and FanDuel were nearly even for second place. BetMGM, operating on The Greenbrier license, and FanDuel, on the Mardi Gras license, each held 22% of the market. BetMGM finished ahead by less than $10,000, a gap the report said amounted to 0.1%.

The source also listed West Virginia’s online casino license holders, operator partners, and launch dates:

  • The Greenbrier: BetMGM (Aug. 2020), Golden Nugget (Nov. 2020)
  • Charles Town: DraftKings (July 2020), PointsBet (Jan. 2022)
  • Mountaineer: BetRivers (Apr. 2021), Caesars (Nov. 2021)
  • Mardi Gras: Betly (June 2023), FanDuel (Sept. 2025)

The June results show a market still led by the same major brands, with DraftKings widening its advantage at the top while BetMGM and FanDuel remained locked in a close race behind it.

Poker Industry PRO did not provide the exact prior-month revenue figures in the source material cited here. The report also did not detail the revenue totals for each of the other licensees beyond the leading operators.

For West Virginia market watchers, the next update will be whether the state can build on June’s 41% year-over-year gain and whether the tight battle for second place changes in the next monthly report.
