bet365’s latest Gaming Insights and Performance report focused on August slot rankings in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, but it also underscored a West Virginia development: the operator says it launched both online casino and sportsbook in the state in August.

That makes West Virginia bet365’s fourth iCasino state, according to the company’s update cited in the report. The same summary said bet365 launched in Michigan in April 2026, added Alberta in July and then went live with sports betting only in Washington, D.C., in early September.

bet365 report tracks slot performance across three US states

The monthly report covers 22 operational iCasino markets worldwide and uses an algorithm based on revenue, stakes, sessions and engagement across roughly 7,500 slot titles on bet365’s platform.

For August, ReelPlay’s Hypernova Megaways returned to No. 1 in Michigan after finishing second in July. In New Jersey, IGT’s Cash Eruption High Stakes climbed 14 places to take the top spot. In Pennsylvania, Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania Slingo from Slingo Originals became the new No. 1 game.

The report also highlighted a few notable movers. In Michigan, IGT’s Cash Eruption rose to No. 2 and Design Works Gaming’s Piggy Payouts Bank Buster LuckyTap debuted at No. 3. In Pennsylvania, ReelPlay’s 10,000 Wonders 10K Ways jumped from 49th in July to third in August. Light & Wonder’s Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand finished in the top 10 in all three tracked states.

bet365 said New Jersey’s mature market is one "where jackpot, branded, and proprietary mechanics are particularly capable of driving rapid movement."

What the update does and does not confirm for West Virginia

The source does not provide August slot-ranking data for West Virginia, and it does not say when the state will be added to this monthly report, if at all. Instead, the confirmed West Virginia news is the operator’s August launch of both casino and sportsbook in the state.

For West Virginia readers, that means this item is more of a market-availability update than a signal about local game popularity. The next thing to watch is whether future bet365 reporting includes West Virginia-specific performance data as the newer market develops.

As always, players should use only legal, regulated options and gamble responsibly.
