BetRivers Online Casino Set To Launch With Century Casinos Deal

Residents in the Mountain State will soon have another option when it comes to West Virginia online casinos.

BetRivers online casino will be going live in the state in early 2021.

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) partnered with Century Casinos in order to debut BetRivers in WV. RSI already provides online casinos in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets, as well as online sportsbooks in many others.

The online casino enters the state under a mobile license from the Mountaineer Casino. It will be the retail establishment’s first online casino platform.

RSI’s deal with Century Casinos

RSI announced its newest partnership last week. Together with Century Casinos, they will launch BetRivers.com in WV in the near future.

The WV Lottery still needs to give the green light to the online casino for both licensing and regulatory approval. If everything goes according to plan, the online casino could be up and running in April 2021.

Based on the information provided by RSI, bettors in WV are in for a treat. The company says its deal with Century Casinos will offer those in the state a “broad range of online casino games, including hundreds of the latest slot machines and table games, as well as a unique and innovative multi-tiered loyalty program that gamifies exciting rewards for customers to earn.”

While online casinos aren’t brand new in WV, the industry is still very young. At the moment, the state features only two mobile apps after five months since they could go live.

BetRivers should hopefully enhance the market even more.

RSI is quite popular around the country, and for good reason. The operator is the top ranked online casino in terms of revenue in the US this year through September. It has also received a wide variety of awards for its achievements, including 2020 Casino Operator of the Year by eGaming Review.

Richard Schwartz, the president of Rush Street Interactive, spoke about his company’s latest venture. He said:

“As RSI continues the collective expansion of our interactive gaming operations into more states, we look forward to earning the same trust and preference of West Virginians that we have earned of players across the country. In neighboring Pennsylvania, RSI is the clear leader in online casino market share, thanks to our secure and reliable platform, player-first attitude, transparent approach to customer service, large game library, fast payouts and innovative playing experiences. In partnership with Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort, we are pleased to have the chance to offer gaming fans in West Virginia the unparalleled experience and service our customers have come to expect via BetRivers.com.”

BetRivers online casino in WV

Although online casino players won’t be able to utilize BetRivers for a few months, they can already access its free casino website.

Right now, residents who are of legal gambling age can create an account at BetRivers.net. This site is completely free to play; however, it still consists of RSI’s top-rated platform.

The online casino will be the first for Mountaineer Casino. The retail location is scheduled to join the Hollywood Casino and The Greenbrier in offering online casinos.

Despite its short existence, online wagering in the Mountain State has proven to be popular.

DraftKings Casino and BetMGM Casino combined to accept over $72 million in betting handle for WV in the month of November. These figures should continue to increase as more online casinos launch in the state.

Online betting figures are growing all over the US in general. It’s clear that online sportsbooks and casinos will attract lots of bettors going forward.

Besides BetRivers, the Golden Nugget Casino will also be releasing in West Virginia at some point in the near future. The gambling giant partnered with The Greenbrier to deliver both an online casino and sportsbook.

As of now, it’s uncertain if Golden Nugget or BetRivers will become available first.

While it took Mountaineer Casino a while to join the current times, it is in a position to succeed now. The casino will soon feature its online casino, to go along with its recently launched William Hill Sportsbook.

With COVID-19 spreading around the US again, there’s never been a more important time to offer your customers a way to bet online.
