Mountain State bettors can wager on two compelling rematches along with a multifight card in UFC 263 on Saturday from Glendale, Arizona.

Israel Adesanya has moved from -286 to -250 at DraftKings WV but is still a large chalk against Marvin Vettori, +200, in the middleweight title match main event. Adesanya defeated Vettori via split decision in a 2018 nontitle bout and is the champion now.

In the co-feature, Deiveson Figueiredo defends his flyweight title against Brandon Moreno as a -240 chalk. Moreno is +195 for this rematch of their epic December 2020 draw, which set a UFC flyweight record for total strikes with 269.

UFC president Dana White called it the greatest flyweight fight in UFC history.

Rest of the main card:

  • Leon Edwards (-500) vs. Nate Diaz (+355)
  • Belal Muhammad (-265) vs. Demian Maia (+200)
  • Jamahal Hill (-305) vs. Paul Craig (+235)

Prelim bouts:

  • Drew Dober (-130) vs. Brad Riddell (+112)
  • Eryk Anders (-150) vs. Darren Stewart (+120)
  • Joanne Calderwood (-152) vs. Lauren Murphy (+120)
  • Moslar Evloev (-250) vs. Hakeem Dawodu (+195)

How to watch

  • Early prelims: 6 p.m., UFC Fight Pass
  • Prelims: 8 p.m., ESPN or ESPN+
  • Main card: 10 p.m., order on ESPN+

Betting on UFC 263 at WV sportsbooks

DraftKings offer for first-time bettors:

Place a $1+ bet on an NBA moneyline or the UFC 263 Adesanya-Vettori main event and get $100 in DK Dollars if your team/fighter wins.

All NBA games until the end of the conference championships or the Adesanya-Vettori fight are eligible.

Make a deposit of $5 or more into your sportsbook account. If you choose the fight, place a bet of at least $1 on either fighter. If your selection is correct, you will be issued a $100 bonus.

The bonus is paid as a site credit, or DK Dollars. The DK Dollars have a one-time play-through requirement before you can withdraw them from your account. This deal excludes live bets, parlays, free bets, cash-out and voided bets, along with odds boosts.

Look for other boosts across the books as fight time approaches.

Analyzing UFC 263’s main card

In their first encounter, Adesanya won the first two rounds with stand-up striking before Vettori found his comfort zone on the ground and won round three.

This fight is two rounds longer. Adesanya has a six-inch reach advantage and prefers fighting outside. Vettori favors the ground game and is +1000 to win by submission at FanDuel Sportsbook WV.

Few rematches produce the exact same result, so bettors might seek some method of victory props.

Adesanya comes off his first career setback, a loss to light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz. Because he was moving up in weight, Adesanya did not lose his middleweight title. Will he come out with more to prove here? Will that affect the outcome and style of the fight?

The first Figueiredo-Moreno fight was a majority draw, enabling Figueiredo to keep this title. Figueiredo also lost a point for a groin kick.

Moreno fought through a shoulder injury in the fight. Is he all right?

Some betting considerations

Figueiredo-Moreno was only the fourth title fight draw in UFC history. Most books consider a draw as voiding all bets, but DraftKings has it in its Fight Props section. It’s called “tie” and pays +5000.

DraftKings also has a strong offering regarding grouping of knockout rounds.

FanDuel presents an excellent menu in the How Fight Will End section. Just nail the result and you get both fighters for a smaller payout.

BetMGM WV offers a few “double up” props in which bettors take a two- or three-fight parlay.
