The Best Super Bowl LV Prop Bets Offered At West Virginia Sportsbooks

The Super Bowl is often one of the most bet-on sporting events every year. This should continue to hold true this weekend with legal sports betting now available in many parts of the US.

Along with wagering on the standard odds for the big game, prop bets are extremely common for Super Bowls.

In the Mountain State, bettors have access to several West Virginia online sports betting apps. They all offer a wide variety of propositional markets that cover almost everything you can think of.

Props are fun because they typically involve things that you usually can’t bet on. While most online sportsbooks provide some team, game and player props for NFL games, these don’t compare to the listings for the Super Bowl.

Each online platform available in WV features a bunch of different props for you to bet on through Sunday. From the coin toss to choosing which jersey number the first touchdown scorer wears, WV sportsbooks have a prop for everyone.

Let’s examine all of the online sportsbooks in the state and break down the most interesting props posted at each for betting on the Super Bowl in WV.

DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings Sportsbook WV is usually among the leaders in providing an abundance of props on a regular basis. The online sportsbook currently includes plenty of Super Bowl markets to choose from.

Although it has all of the usual props you’re accustomed to seeing, DraftKings also features lots of bizarre alternatives.

One that will immediately catch your eye is the novelty prop called Fat Man TD. Here, you can bet on whether a lineman will score a touchdown in the game.

Bettors can put action down on any offensive lineman scoring at +2000, with either offensive or defensive linemen listed at +800.

Another fun prop might not sit well with the Chicago Bears and their fans. With the Doink Special, DraftKings customers can wager on whether any field goal or extra point attempt hits an upright or the crossbar during the game.

You’re able to take the Yes option at +375, while the odds for No sit at -590.

If the game is tight, it’s possible there will be an onside kick at the end of the fourth quarter. Teams have been known to sneak in an onside attempt following Super Bowl halftime as well.

DraftKings shows odds of +1700 for either team to recover an onside kick. Bettors taking this prop can double down on kickoff markets and wager on the opening kick going back for a touchdown, at +5000.

FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel Sportsbook WV includes an extensive prop library for Super Bowl LV betting, too.

The online sportsbook has an entire section dedicated to penalty props. One that’s very intriguing is the distance of the longest penalty called.

At the moment, you can bet on whether or not the longest penalty enforced in the game is over 15.5 yards. The over has odds of +120, and the under 15.5 yards is at -155.

What makes this prop so interesting is that there is only one penalty that can win this bet. Since personal foul calls are just 15 yards, bettors would need a pass interference call to come out on top.

Defensive pass interference is a spot foul, so the amount of yardage depends on where the penalty occurs. Over backers will need a penalty called on a pass at least 16 yards down the field.

With quarterbacks Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes constantly airing it out, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see this prop hit.

You can bet on which QB finishes the Super Bowl with more passing yards. FanDuel has Mahomes as a slight favorite at -155, whereas Brady’s odds are +120.

Mahomes threw for 325 yards a week ago, and Brady had 280 in the Bucs’ victory over Green Bay.

FanDuel seems to think there will be some scoring early on in Sunday’s game. Customers can wager on if both teams will score before punting.

Kansas City is listed at -120 to score, with odds of -105 to punt. On the other hand, Tampa Bay has the same odds, -115, to score or punt first.

BetMGM Sportsbook

BetMGM Sportsbook WV doesn’t have any shortage of Super Bowl props either.

Besides a lot of familiar game and team props, the online sportsbook includes a section for cross-game betting. These prop markets are different than most and consist of odds from two separate sports.

For example, you can bet on whether Brady will throw more touchdown passes, or if Alexander Ovechkin scores more points in the Capitals game against the Flyers on Sunday.

BetMGM shows Brady as the favorite at -250, with Ovechkin’s odds at +200.

Another prop involves the Bucs’ Mike Evans and English soccer club Arsenal’s forward Alexandre Lacazette.

The online sportsbook has Evans as the small favorite to score more touchdowns than Lacazette does goals in his upcoming game. Evans is available to bet at -115, with Lacazette posted at -105.

Even golf fans can get in on the Super Bowl props at BetMGM. It features odds for whether Brady will have more interceptions than the number of holes in one this weekend at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The sportsbook has Brady listed at -115, with the number of aces at the golf tournament at -105.

William Hill Sportsbook

Of course, one of the most popular prop bets every Super Bowl is the coin toss. William Hill WV has you covered here, with multiple props involving the opening coin flip.

You’re able to wager on if it lands on heads or tails, with both options having odds of -101. Bettors can also put action down on which side will win the toss. Again, both the Chiefs and Bucs have the same odds, -101.

The online sportsbook offers a player prop for who will score the first points in the game. Unlike first-touchdown markets, these odds have both kickers as the favorite to put up the opening points.

William Hill has the following odds:

  • Ryan Succop +500
  • Harrison Butker +500
  • Travis Kelce +750
  • Tyreek Hill +750
  • Chris Godwin +1300
  • Darrel Williams +1300
  • Mike Evans +1400
  • Leonard Fournette +1400
  • Clyde Edwards-Helaire +1500

Betly Sportsbook

Betly Sportsbook is an additional online platform in the Mountain State that’s released a bunch of Super Bowl props.

It includes odds for which quarter will have the most scoring:

  • First quarter +600
  • Second quarter +150
  • Third quarter +500
  • Fourth quarter +230
  • Tie +900

Another common prop for every Super Bowl is which player will win the award for the game’s MVP.

The online sportsbook currently has these odds in place:

  • Patrick Mahomes -125
  • Tom Brady +200
  • Travis Kelce +1000
  • Tyreek Hill +1200
  • Mike Evans +2500
  • Chris Godwin +3500
  • Leonard Fournette +3500
  • Antonio Brown +5000
  • Clyde Edwards-Helaire +5000
