In 2022, Rush Street Interactive added BetRivers Online Casino & Sportsbook to its portfolio in West Virginia. Now, Rush Street is partnering with Fantasma Games in an effort to bring players a unique and thrilling gaming experience that extends beyond gambling.
The partnership could create a new casino gaming experience for West Virginia players.
What does the partnership mean for players in West Virginia?
There are currently seven West Virginia online casinos. Hacksaw Gaming will soon launch an eighth option for bettors in the Mountain State.
The new partnership between Rush Street (RSI) and Fantasma will be on the BetRivers app and at PlaySugarHouse.com. The deal will certainly drive more traffic to the sites and potentially pull business away from others.
Fantasma Games offers something different than traditional slot games, according to RSI CEO Richard Schwartz:
“Its slots combine striking visuals and narrative-driven gameplay and will provide new entertainment experiences for our BetRivers players.”
IGaming makes up around 75% of RSI’s revenue in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. One of the company’s goals is to convert as many sports bettors to online casino patrons in states where online gambling is legal.
That means West Virginia players could see an increase in available promotions once Fantasma launches on RSI’s betting sites.
It could also mean fewer people playing games at brick-and-mortar casinos. If online games prove riveting, players could decide to play on apps from their couches instead of visiting a casino.
Fantasma offers 27 different gambling games
Founded in 2016, Fantasma Games has its brand in 50 different countries across more than 200 operators. Some of the sites are BetMGM Casino WV, DraftKings, LeoVegas, Paddy Power, and Betsson.
The company is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and currently offers 27 different gambling games for mobile devices.
Fantasma’s latest release, “Wicked Kitty,” features a bonus that expands reels when the Wicked Kitty shows up.
Fantasma’s games include:
- Volatile Egypt
- Goat Rush
- Alice in Adventureland
- Desert Shark
- Super Sumo
