The West Virginia Lottery Commission conducted a monthly meeting last week and beefed up its online casino industry. It approved the supplier licenses to the following companies:

  • Gamewise
  • TBG Security
  • 4media group

Each of these companies has different roles, but will contribute to WV online casinos.

Gamewise to provide online gambling platform for Betly

Gamewise is expected to have a large role in the gambling industry in the Mountain State after the West Virginia Lottery approved the company’s iGaming supplier license.

Delaware North, which owns and operates Mardi Gras Casino and Wheeling Island Casino in West Virginia, had already formed a partnership with Gamewise in July 2021.

Gamewise is going to bring a sports betting and online casino platform to both of Betly’s products in the Mountain State. The company has an expansive list of capabilities, which include:

  • Content Management System (CMS)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Live notification system
  • Slot tournaments
  • Responsible gaming tools
  • Back office
  • Full player tracking

In addition to the platform, Gamewise has more than 150 slot titles created in-house, along with games from manufacturing companies such as NetEnt and International Game Technology (IGT). Some of the most recent slots include:

  • Plasma Fusion
  • Atlantis
  • Cash of Lords
  • Mojo Spin
  • Luck Ness

Gamewise is expected to positively impact the industry, especially Betly.

West Virginia Lottery Commission grants additional licenses

TBG Security and 4media group are the other licenses the West Virginia Lottery approved at last week’s meeting.

While these two are expected to go much more behind the scenes, their licensing is still important nonetheless.

It’s essential that consumer protections in the gaming industry are strictly enforced. TBG Security will help provide that. Here is a description of the company, according to its website:

“TBG Security provides risk management solutions to ensure your business is minimizing uncertainty in an increasingly hostile information environment. Acting as trusted advisors, we help our clients plan, implement and monitor successful cyber security programs that align with business objectives.”

Some of the services TBG Security offers include:

  • Risk management
  • Data breach protection
  • Penetration testing
  • Blockchain security testing
  • Incident response services

4media group is an integrated communications and marketing firm that can help operators and customers connect. It provides the following services:

  • Data-driven analytics
  • Strategic digital tactics
  • Content
  • PR and communications strategies

All three of these companies will be able to help operators and customers moving forward within the West Virginia gambling industry.
