After holding a competitive procurement process, the West Virginia Lottery is providing a new online iLottery system with NeoPollard Interactive (NPi).

The deal comes with new programs and fresh games that should be exciting for players.

There is no replacement for West Virginia online casinos. However, an expanded iLottery market could enhance the gaming industry even more in the Mountain State.

How NeoPollard Interactive partnership will improve WV Lottery

The West Virginia Lottery and NPi have signed a 10-year contract to work together. The agreement includes an integrated omnichannel loyalty program and mobile application. Here are some of the other features the West Virginia Lottery will use:

  • NPi’s NeoSphere player account management system
  • Central Gaming System (CGS) NeoDraw and the NeoEngage customer engagement platform
  • Pollard Banknote’s playON Player Engagement Platform

The Pollard Banknote’s playON Player Engagement Platform will extend the lottery’s existing Player’s Circle loyalty program. Players will also have access to NPi’s library of games.

West Virginia Lottery Director John A. Myers said in a statement:

“The West Virginia Lottery provides vital support to our state’s education system, senior services, and tourism, while operating with the highest standard of integrity and security. As an industry leader in the iLottery space, we firmly believe that NPi will be an ideal partner to help launch iLottery in our state and responsibly increase our contribution to programs that benefit the citizens of West Virginia.”

Potential iLottery games coming to West Virginia

NPi is new to West Virginia, but has provided iLottery services to multiple states including New Hampshire, Michigan, Virginia and North Carolina. There are several offerings that Mountain State players could see soon. Those include:

  • eInstants
  • Draw
  • eKeno
  • Offline replication

NPi VP and General Manager Colin Hadden said:

“NPi is delighted to celebrate this exciting partnership with the West Virginia Lottery. We look forward to supporting the success of the West Virginia Lottery with an iLottery 360° Solution that powers several of the most successful iLottery programs in North America.”

West Virginia putting more resources into iLottery suggests a demand for new games. It also shows that the gaming industry is continuing to grow.
