During a monthly meeting last week, the West Virginia Lottery approved three new online casino suppliers and one sports betting supplier:
- Konami Gaming
- North American Bancard
- Electronic Payment Exchange (EPX)
- SDSV Inc.
All four suppliers are expected to contribute to the West Virginia gaming industry. Operators in the Mountain State could also receive a slot library boost from Konami Gaming.
West Virginia online casinos to get new games from Konami
The biggest news to come from the West Virginia Lottery meeting was the approval of Konami Gaming’s supplier license. Konami Gaming is already licensed in Michigan and Pennsylvania, and it has tons of games to provide to WV online casinos.
Konami Gaming was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has another location in Australia. In addition to online games, the company offers the following retail casino services, according to its website:
- Casino games
- Video slot cabinets
- Video slot games
- Multi-station games
Some of Konami Gaming’s most popular slot games include:
- China Shores
- Dragon’s Law
- Treasure Ball
- Star Watch
Konami Gaming also offers a casino management system that provides operators with marketing tools and collects robust data on players. Online casino operators in West Virginia are going to be able to use Konami Gaming for multiple services.
The other two approved suppliers, North American Bancard and EPX, are payment processing companies. They are similar to Blackhawk Network, which got approved during an October meeting.
West Virginia Lottery approves sports betting supplier
The only West Virginia sports betting supplier to get approved was SDSV Inc. There isn’t too much information on the company. However, the West Virginia Lottery provided that SDSV Inc. is a risk and odds management platform.
The company is licensed in Canada and is also contracted by PENN Entertainment, which operates theScore Bet and Casino north of the border and ESPN Bet West Virginia.
It’s apparent that PENN Entertainment and ESPN Bet are going to employ SDSV Inc. in the Mountain State.
