Still of Crazy Time, a live dealer game show from Evolution that is now live in West Virginia.

Things are about to get crazier in West Virginia.

The Crazy Time casino table game dealer broadcast is now available for viewers and WV online casino players in the Mountain State, according to an announcement from Evolution Gaming, which produces the popular show. The program emanates from the Evolution casino-themed studio in Philadelphia.

Crazy Time continues its rollout in the United States, also entering Pennsylvania. It debuted in New Jersey in December 2023 with live dealing of the innovative Crazy Time game, which is exclusive to Evolution.

What is Crazy Time?

In Crazy Time, players spin a money wheel and flip over cards to choose game options or retrieve prizes.

Participants can wager on the wheel and card outcomes and use multipliers as large as ten times the shown value. Elements of Crazy Time play include Pachinko, Cash Hunt, and the free-for-all Crazy Time, where players bet on the money wheel with a chance to boost their winnings.

The bonus rounds, which are prevalent, offer many opportunities for a big winning payoff.

“Crazy Time has been a massive global hit since launching in 2020 and has attracted millions of players, making it the world’s #1 online live game show,” Jacob Claesson, Evolution CEO for North America, said in a press release.

“That success story is now continuing across the USA. The reception from players in New Jersey has been fantastic, and Crazy Time is now one of our most popular live dealer games in the state. We’re incredibly excited to bring the unique Crazy Time online entertainment experience to players in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, with more US states set to join in the fun soon.”

Evolution brings live action of casino gaming to West Virginia

Crazy Time initially launched in markets outside the US, following a demo at ICE 2020. The game is centered on the Dream Catcher money wheel, a game feature used in previous titles from Evolution. It’s development was aimed at creating content that people would consume even if they weren’t gamblers.

“The goal was to make a game that is so entertaining that people would enjoy just watching it as they would a game show on television,” said Evolution’s chief product officer, Todd Haushalter, at the time of the launch of Crazy Time in 2020.

Haushalter added:

“We know this game will appeal to slot players and we wanted to really entertain them, and to do that we packed each game round with lots of action, also making it longer than a typical slot-round. We feel players get great entertainment value with each bet in this game.”

Evolution Gaming, based in Malta, has operations in the US, United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Romania, South Africa, and elsewhere, according to its website. With Crazy Time, the company has established a monster hit for its catalog of products.

Other live gaming producers such as Authentic Gaming and Playtech have struggled to keep pace with Evolution, which also has popular live dealer games such as Super Sic Bo.
