Anaxi, the gaming tech wing of Aristocrat Gaming, announced last week that its digital wallet technology is now available to all US casino operators.
The increased compatibility eliminates any integration issues that may have occurred between casinos and Anaxi’s digital wallet platform. Anaxi can now provide a single solution to fund all gaming accounts.
Aside from its digital wallet, Anaxi already has a presence within the state, as it provides gaming content for several notable West Virginia casinos.
With the latest upgrade, third-party app vendors can now join existing Oasis 360 CMS customers in their ability to utilize and even extend Anaxi’s digital wallet solution.
Anaxi’s digital wallet provides multiple benefits for online casino operators
The digital wallet enhancements were a project of Anaxi’s Customer Experience Solutions (CXS), which focuses on essential technology related to gaming.
The company’s press release announcing the development summarized it:
“By delivering flexible, cashless and mobile features via any player app, Digital Wallet allows for universal gameplay and entertainment experiences in the palm of your hand.”
Anaxi’s digital wallet technology provides a number of potential benefits for its partners. Some of them include:
- Full access to Anaxi’s Digital Wallet, which includes Anaxi’s PlayerMax concierge app, or can be used alongside another third-party app or provider
- Financing options
- Knowledge of a player’s funding and gaming patterns, which can help to reduce costs, risks and foster responsible gaming habits
“We’ve been working diligently to create open platform solutions to enable operators to seamlessly integrate Anaxi’s solutions such as the Digital Wallet with other products in their portfolio,” Charles Hiten, Anaxi CXS’s Global SVP of Product and Development, said in the press release. “We’re excited to see it transform the way players finance their casino experiences. It’s another significant milestone in our journey to deliver our vision of ‘one player, one experience’.”
Anaxi has partnered with BetMGM and Caesars to provide slot content at WV casinos
Along with its digital wallet and technology products, Anaxi also has a content creation department that will bring new games to West Virginia and other regions.
In mid-February, Anaxi reached an agreement with BetMGM Casino to bring new games to the operator’s online platform.
In the news release, Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer of BetMGM, said:
“We are honored to be the first operator in North America to offer Anaxi’s world-class content. Partnering with Anaxi to provide some of Aristocrat’s most iconic games supports our goal of making BetMGM online casino the best destination for players.”
Then in March, Anaxi announced a similar partnership with Caesars Casino.
“Our commitment to both guest and operator entertainment experiences are at the heart of everything we do. Great partnerships of this kind are the driving force in continuing to move our industry innovations forward,” Cath Burns, Executive Vice President of Anaxi, said in the release. “We are excited for this collaboration as Anaxi brings iconic titles to the Caesars empire.”
Both Caesars and BetMGM currently have an online casino agreement with Anaxi in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Upcoming Anaxi gaming content at West Virginia online casinos
Here’s a snapshot of some Anaxi games that could be arriving soon:
- Miss Kitty: A cat-themed slot with 5 rows and 50 paylines, free spins and an expected RTP rate near 95%.
- Wild Wild Samurai: Japanese warriors spring to life on the screen in this slot that features a Hunt for Wilds, free games and multipliers that bring a return up to 9x.
- 5 Dragons Rising Jackpot: This slot features dual gateways with five different dragon colors, four reel sets and 20 ways to win. Players can pick reels, match dragons or upgrade the values of their picture symbols by increasing their wager. In the end, everything delivers extra chances for increased profits.
WV online casino apps produce record totals this July
Compared to other states, West Virginia is a smaller, but growing gaming market. In July, West Virginia’s online casino revenue ($14.4 million) marked the second-highest total in state history.
West Virginia has eight licensed casino apps. BetMGM (along with FanDuel WV and Golden Nugget), operate under a license from The Greenbrier. Those entities accounted for around 36% of the state’s online gaming market share last month.
Caesars and BetRivers Casino, which are licensed through the Mountaineer Casino, combined for an estimated 14% of market share.
Finally, the Hollywood Charles Town licenses (DraftKings and PointsBet) account for about 25% of the market.
Earlier this month, Betly also relaunched its online gaming platform through Delaware North, which operates the Mardi Gras and Wheeling Island retail locations.
